Super delicious food! Friendly service and "special requests" regarding side dishes were also catered for. The food was delivered on time, hot & Corona compliant. Top! Highly recommended and a must for good food.

Nice German restaurant. Prices are average. Food tastes good and the portions are incredibly generous. The cider tastes delicious. The service is very friendly. In the heart of Darmstadt you have the feeling of being in the deepest Odenwald. It is better to reserve in advance.

The cult pub in the Johannesviertel. Hessian specialties and a good atmosphere guaranteed.

Solid meals. Portions are very generous for the price. The conditions were extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable. One star deduction, because the Schitzel and the pancakes for dessert were a bit dry for my taste. However, the other two meals were superb!

Cozy restaurant with regional drinks and dishes. If you want a good classic dish from the Darmstadt / Odenwald region, this is the ideal place for it. The drinks come from regional producers, as do the dishes. We love to come here

We visited this place with our couchsurfing community. It is a good place with really comfy atmosphere. With good german food. Not the best place for vegeterians tho. The food tastes really good the portions are big and the prices are reasonable.

The Kartoffelsalat was nice and the Apfelwein was really good

How delicious! They have really great food here and some of the best Handkäse I've ever eaten. Their apple wine's no standard either, nice and tart and delicious. The beer garden is lovely, the service was super friendly - I will definitely be back here at the next opportunity.

Very great restaurant with delicious Hessian and regional dishes and mostly very good service! Only 2 points deduction for the fact that no card payment is possible and the opening times are a bit suboptimal. The beer garden as well as inside the furniture could be adapted a little more to the style. The food is good and the value is okay.

Good food, good beers and good prices. Note though, they only take cash and only euro.
